NCRI - The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) stressed in a report published today that not only has the Iranian regime defied the United Nations Security Council Resolutions 1696, 1737 and 1747 calling for the immediate suspension of its uranium enrichment program, it has also started up and expanded the production of its centrifuges. The Iranian mullahs have utilized at least 1,300 centrifuges to enrich uranium on a much larger scale.

She said that the heroic student demonstrations in past few weeks are an advent of people’s rage against the religious fascism ruling Iran. They seek a major change in the direction of establishing democracy in our country.

NCRI - In a press conference in Brussels on March 28, senior members of the European Parliament from different political groups condemned British and French insistence to defy the ruling of the European Communities' Court annulling terrorist designation of the People's Mojahedin Organization of Iran. By exposing their efforts, they called for immediate implementation of the court ruling and removal of the PMOI from the terror list.

The Iranian Resistance strongly condemns the decision by the U.N. Human Rights Council not to monitor the systematic and flagrant violation of human rights by a regime which is the world’s record holder of execution in Iran. The decision is the disgraceful domination of the Council by the countries which are themselves notorious violators of human rights and it is a catastrophe for human rights. In 2002, the same countries prevented the UN Human Rights Commission from condemning the Iranian regime’s human rights violations. Half of the members of a special committee which was formed to examine Iran’s human rights’ violations have abysmal records in human rights violations.
